Beringer| Chopped Grill Masters



Beringer was a new ad sales client looking to promote their wine via grilling season in 2016. Our ad sales team pitched sponsorship and on-air integration of the seasonal competition series Chopped Grill Masters, but the client was looking for a more robust campaign that extended off-air. At the same time, it was an internal priority to promote tune-in and awareness for prime programming as the marketing budget for the series was limited.
My role was to:

Identify opportunities where we could promote the series and support Beringers' needs.

Create and develop off-channel campaign with Beringer - in-store POS, digital and social elements and sales materials for distributors.

Collaborate with client on creative and proper use of brand marks and promotion of show as well as ensuring no implied endorsements by Chopped Grills Masters judges.

As a result, I helped to secure a two-year, $2+MM dollar deal for a time period that is typically slow for Ad Sales. We received positive client feedback for our collaboration efforts and ratings for the series exceeded expectations.
