Beringer| Chopped Grill Masters

Beringer was a new ad sales client looking to promote their wine via grilling season in 2016.  Our ad sales team pitched sponsorship and on-air integration of the seasonal competition series Chopped Grill Masters, but the client was looking for a more robust campaign that extended off-air. At the same time, it was an internal priority to promote tune-in and awareness for prime programming as the marketing budget for the series was limited.

My role was to:

  • Identify opportunities where we could promote the series and support Beringers' needs.

  • Create and develop off-channel campaign with Beringer - in-store POS, digital and social elements and sales materials for distributors.

  • Collaborate with client on creative and proper use of brand marks and promotion of show as well as ensuring no implied endorsements by Chopped Grills Masters judges.

Responsibilities Included:

  • Digital/Social Promotion

  • Client Communication

  • Cross Functional Team Management

As a result, I helped to secure a two-year, $2+MM dollar deal for a time period that is typically slow for Ad Sales.  We received positive client feedback for our collaboration efforts and ratings for the series exceeded expectations.
